Richard's Room In the B&B at 586 East Main Street
This wonderful cream-colored room with period wallpaper and wainscoting is named for the most famous actor of his time at the Globe Theatre, Richard Burbage, another frequent visitor to the Shakespeare home. With its own private entrance off the rear garden, this bedroom, which can be a king or twins, is filled with light and period pieces that evoke cozy comfort. A step-in shower in the tiled bath makes it accessible for those training new knees or tolerating old joints. A queen sofa bed makes it possible to add a third member to your party.
